When compared to the previous month, the amount of scrap collected in Ukraine in April 2023 increased by 2.04 times, reaching 144 thousand tons. The figure increased by 2.3 times since April 2022.
When compared to the previous month, the scrap supply to Ukrainian steel enterprises decreased by 2.7% in April 2023, but increased by 62.1% to 85.1 thousand tons by April 2022.
From January to April 2023, the amount of scrap collected decreased by 40.8% to 366.6 thousand tons compared to the same period in 2022.
