Out of the total 8,750 tons offered in the auction, around 7,500 tons were purchased by successful buyers. This significant development once again emphasized SAIL's strong position and influence in the steel industry.
The buyers purchased 60 kg of rails from the mill at INR 42,500 per ton and 52 kg of rails from the mill at INR 70,000 per ton.
