Over the eight months of 2023, Russia increased the volume of imports of flat hot-rolled steel by 20.7%, flat hot-rolled steel by 4.4%, long steel by 85.4%, seamless pipes by 103.7%, welded pipes by 10.5% and wire by 124.1%.
Russia's stainless steel imports increased
The volume of imports of main types of stainless steel products in Russia from January to August 2023 increased by 23.9% compared to the previous year, reaching more than 333.3 thousand tons. Compared to the same period in 2021, the volume of imports increased by 17.7%.
