Russia's claim to use Iran for oil

According to the information provided by Western diplomats to Politico, Russian trade and finance officials, including the executives of Gazprom and other large companies, met in Tehran in July to  discuss the situation.

Diplomats stated that Iran has also sent two delegations to Moscow on energy and finance issues in the last few weeks, and that the situation will be evaluated according to the decision of the delegations.

According to Politico's claim, if the sanctions are lifted, the rumor that Iran will import crude oil from Russia to the northern shore of the Caspian Sea, and that crude oil as well as imported Russian oil will be exported via Iranian tankers via the Persian Gulf has begun to spread throughout the country.
