Russia will provide investment convenience to 25 friendly countries

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that Russia will create a simplified procedure for investment in companies and citizens of 25 'friendly' countries, including Turkiye, China and India.

Prime Minister Mishustin announced that individuals and companies from 25 countries can open bank accounts and deposit money in Russia with a simplified procedure. "Creating easy conditions for foreign businesses and operators is an important part of the government's efforts to achieve financial sovereignty as part of fulfilling the national goals set by our president," Mishustin said.

The Russian Prime Minister stated that citizens and companies of 25 'friendly' countries, including China, India, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, Kazakhstan and Belarus, can benefit from this procedure.

Russia defined the countries that imposed sanctions on it after the Ukraine war, which started on February 24, 2022, as "unfriendly countries".
