This week, 159,000 tons of rebar and 113,000 tons of 12 to 20m sizes used in construction were sold in the market this week.
The main reasons for this increase are respectively;
• Increase in construction
• Scrap and sponge iron prices
• Currency fluctuations
• Increases in electricity, oil and fuel prices
