Rebar prices in Saudi Arabia decreased by 18.6% in 2023

In a significant market shift, the average price of a ton of rebar in the Saudi Arabia experienced an 18.6% decrease in 2023 compared to the previous year. The full-year average price per ton in 2023 settled at 2995.54 riyals, showcasing a notable decline from the 2022 figure of 3681.73 riyals per ton.

This downward trajectory follows a trend observed over the years. Notably, in 2021, the average price stood at 3,542.80 riyals per ton, marking a decrease from 2,793.89 riyals in 2020, 2,585.79 riyals in 2019, and 2541.78 riyals in 2018.

As of the end of December, the average price of a ton of rebar in Saudi Arabia ranged between 2,665 riyals per ton and 3,974 riyals per ton (6 mm rebar).
