Production operations started at Tosyalı Sarıseki plant

Tosyalı Holding is expected to reach 10 million tons of production capacity per year with the commissioning of its new production facility in Sarıseki. The Sarıseki plant will provide direct employment for 1,300 people and will replace Turkey's annual flat steel imports of approximately 4 billion dollars.

The EAF Quantum Furnace technology to be used in the new plant will be a first in Turkey. With the technology to be used, while lower electrical energy consumption ensures, industry 4.0 applications will be integrated into production processes. In this way, the Sarıseki plant will be one of the best examples of digital transformation in global steel production.
