Coke futures for May delivery on the Dalian commodity exchange fell 2.8 percent to 2,222 yuan after falling 3.6 percent to 2,203 yuan ($345.88). Coke prices fell 4.1 percent to 3,002 yuan after falling 4.8 percent in the first transactions.
Iron ore futures, the most heavily traded contract on the Dalian commodity exchange, fell 1.9 percent to 693 yuan per tonne.
Rebar prices on the Shanghai futures exchange fell 3.7 percent to 4,348 yuan a tonne. Hot rolled steel (HRC) coil prices fell 4.1 percent to 4,432 yuan per tonne. Stainless steel prices for February delivery rose 1.2 percent to 16,895 yuan per ton.
