President Erdogan in the earthquake zone

President Erdoğan said: "As of now, the number of people who died is 8 thousand 574, the number of injured 49 thousand 133, the number of destroyed buildings 6 thousand 444."

"We have mobilized all our means, the state is carrying out its work with municipalities, especially AFAD, with all its means," Erdogan said.

Regarding the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş, he said: "Our citizens should not worry, we can never let them stay on the street."

He also stated that earthquake victims can stay in contracted hotels in Antalya, Alanya and Mersin.
