Norsk Hydro's 2022 performance with higher metal prices

Norwegian aluminum producer Norsk Hydro reported that the company's adjusted EBITDA was NOK 39.7 billion in 2022, up 42% year-on-year.

Norsk Hydro's 2022 performance with higher metal prices

European extrusion demand is expected to fall 9% quarter on quarter and 16% year on year in the fourth quarter of 2022. North American extrusion demand was expected to fall 14% quarter on quarter and 8% year on year.

According to CRU Group, extrusion demand will fall by 18% and 4%, respectively, in the first quarter of 2023 in Europe and North America.
