Sales in the last quarter increased by 8% compared to the II quarter, to 4.34 million tons, compared to the same period last year - by 5%. The increase was due to the normalization of inventories accumulated during the second quarter, as well as the recovery in demand for flat steel in the markets of Russia and Turkey. The volume of sales of finished products increased by 29% compared to the previous quarter, to 2.9 million tons.
NLMK Group reduced steel production by 11%
NLMK Group produced 3.9 million tons of steel in the third quarter of 2022, which is 11% lower than in the second quarter.
