EU quotas between January 1 and March 31 have been announced.
According to SteelRadar's weekly quota tracking assessment, the first quota figures for 2024 have been announced. According to preliminary assessments, countries have not used their quotas so far in the first week of the year, while the amount of quotas and products allocated to countries are similar.
Contrary to expectations, quota figures and product groups allocated to EU countries do not show any change. However, in the previous period of September 1-December 31, it was observed that quotas started to be used quickly. Among the quotas, the product with the highest quota allocated on a product basis was Stainless HR Quarto Sheet.
