The Italian re-roller Marcegaglia is revising its price list for stainless steel and specialty tube products. The adjustments that will be effective from next week involve raising prices for further processed tubes and certain niche products requiring special treatment.
This decision stems from rising processing and distribution expenses. On average, the price increases will reach €250 per tonne.
The European stainless steel market remains slow due to weak demand for coils and related products, particularly in Italy and Germany.
