Imported scrap prices continue to decline. While the latest figures for Turkey's imported scrap bookings were at $458-461, a new booking was heard from Izmir factories today.
According to the information from the market;
A steel mill based in Izmir region made a total of 25,000 tons, of which 18,500 tons of 80/20 at $455, 1,500 tons of bonus scrap at $470, and 5,000 tons of shredded scrap at the same price.
