Italy's long steel producer Pittini Group has announced the acquisition of STEELAG GmbH, a Germany-based steel producer of electro-welded products and wire rod derivatives.
STEELAG's three plants in the Czech Republic and Slovakia have an annual production capacity of 200,000 metric tonnes of finished products. Following this acquisition, Pittini will be able to expand its product range and strengthen its distribution network abroad.
