İsdemir's net profit decreased by 57% in the first half of the year

İsdemir's net profit for the second quarter of 2025 decreased by 57% y/y.

İskenderun Demir ve Çelik A.Ş. (ISDMR) published its financial results for the second quarter of 2025 on the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP). The company reported a total net profit of TRY 3 billion 40 million 825 thousand for the period January 1 – June 30, 2025. This figure represents a 57% decrease compared to the net profit of TRY 7 billion 112 million 702 thousand achieved in the same period of 2024. The company's net profit for the second quarter of 2025 amounted to TRY 2 billion 13 million 804 thousand.

Sales revenues increased by 3% y/y to reach TRY 55 billion 652 million. However, operating profit decreased by 58% compared to the same period last year, reaching TRY 3 billion 250 million. During the same period, the company's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) amounted to TRY 5 billion 214 million.

Notable growth was observed in the company's balance sheet items. As of June 30, 2025, total assets increased to TRY 212.7 billion, while total liabilities reached TRY 79.1 billion. Equity increased by 7% in the first half of the year, reaching TRY 133.6 billion.

According to İsdemir's announced figures, the company's price/earnings (P/E) ratio was calculated as 11.01, and its market value/book value (MV/BV) ratio was calculated as 0.84. The company's total market value stands at TRY 112.1 billion.
