China's Zhongzhong Science & Technology has started the process of building a state-of-the-art hot rolling mill for Haiyang Steel Group, one of Indonesia's leading companies.

This advanced production line, measuring 1,450 mm, is specifically designed to produce hot rolled coils (HRC) in thicknesses ranging from 15 mm to 14 mm and widths ranging from 800 mm to 1,250 mm.

This strategic initiative aims to strengthen Haiyang Steel Group's production capacity and diversify its product range, while focusing particularly on meeting the growing demand for high-quality HRC products in various manufacturing sectors.

The installation project highlights Zhongzhong Science & Technology's commitment to developing technological capabilities and contributing to the international steelmaking field. The collaboration between the Chinese technology firm and Indonesia's Haiyang Steel Group will increase efficiency and quality in HRC production.
