Indonesia ranks 4th among the world's largest iron and steel exporters

The Ministry of Trade of Indonesia has announced that since 2023, Indonesia has risen to the 4th position among the world's largest iron and steel exporters. This is a significant leap from 2019 when Indonesia was ranked 17th on the same list.

Trade Minister Zulkifli Hasan, speaking at the National Seminar and Steel Construction Supply Chain Exhibition, highlighted that Trade Map data shows Indonesia controlling 5.61% of global steel exports in 2023. Leading the list is China with a 14.57% market share, followed by Germany at 6.95% and Japan at 6.42%.

PT Gunung Raja Paksi Tbk is one of the largest contributors to the growth in Indonesia's iron and steel export performance and has over 50 years of experience in the steel industry, producing up to 1,200,000 tons of high-quality steel per year.
