In February this year, imports of hot-rolled coils in the US decreased by about 22.6% m-o-m and about 25.5% y-o-y to 105,999 tons.
Imports from Canada amounted to 76,588 tons, imports from Mexico amounted to 10,759 tons, imports from the Netherlands amounted to 6,014 tons, imports from Brazil amounted to 4,067 tons, and imports from South Korea amounted to 3,086 tons.
In this period, the import value amounted to $ 88.6 million.
