Import scrap prices have fallen in recent deals

1,000 tons of UK/EU containerized shredded scrap booked at $562/ton CFR Qasim by a Pakistani steelmaker. The shredded scrap price rating has dropped by $4/ton.

Major recyclers keep their offers at $565-570/ton CFR.

Producers are actively booking scrap for December'21 shipments as prices may move up during the winter months due to scrap collection shortages.
