The average rebar and wire rod prices of the week in Germany and Italy were announced. The average ex-works price for rebar was 870/t euros, and the average ex-works price of wire rod was 915/t euros.
Last week, prices for rebar in Europe rose above 900/t euros on average, while this week's prices did not exceed 880/t euros.
The weekly average rebar price in Germany was calculated as 910/t euros.
As energy prices continue to rise, prices in the iron and steel industry are expected to be affected as well.
