The restriction of natural gas and electricity experienced by steel producers in Iran has reduced the consumption of pellets, while increasing the demand for exports. For this reason, steel mills in the southern region of Iran complain that there are not enough trucks and wagons to deliver the pellets and concentrates needed by local steelmakers. Iron ore exports in the country reached 1.76 million tons compared to last month.
