According to the ranking data, Habaş was ranked 85th in 2024 and climbed to 72nd place in 2025, marking an impressive rise of 13 positions. The company’s advancement in the rankings was particularly noteworthy given that its production volume remained unchanged year on year.
The ranking, compiled using data from the World Steel Association (worldsteel), is based on annual crude steel production volumes. Habaş’s rise in the list highlights the strengthening of its position within the global steel industry.
At the top of the global ranking were China Baowu Group, ArcelorMittal, and Nippon Steel Corporation. Among the Turkish companies included in the list, Habaş was one of the firms that achieved the most significant improvement in ranking position.
