Germany's Kloeckner predicts that steel supply shortages and high prices will continue

In the second quarter of this year, Kloeckner's shipments of steel products amounted to approximately 1.3 million tons, up 21 percent year on year, with sales value reaching approximately € 1.85 billion, up 57.8 percent year on year.

Due to the expected impact of price dynamics, Kloeckner's sales will rise sharply in the third quarter, while shipments will fall slightly in the summer due to seasonal factors.

Overall, Kloeckner's overall sales this year are expected to increase significantly and shipments are expected to exceed last year's performance.
