ArcelorMittal USA, NLMK USA and Nucor increased flat product prices by $50/tonne.
The NLMK was the only country in the U.S. to issue a minimum price, setting its hot-rolled coil (HRC) bids at $875/st.
It continues to drive price increases after integrated steelmaker Cleveland-Cliffs increased flat prices by $50/tonne earlier Thursday and set the hot roll price at $850/tonne.
Since the end of November, the US Midwest hot sheet factory delivery rating has increased by 25% to $781/tonne, up $154/tonne on January 31.
