Feng Hsin increases its scrap and rebar prices

Feng Hsin Steel Co., Ltd., one of the largest electric furnace factories in Taiwan, increases its scrap and rebar prices by NT$200/ton. Thus, the purchase price of scrap amounted 1,800 USD/ton, and the price of rebar amounted 20,800 USD/ton. The price of the steel profile remained stable at NT$ 27,600/ton. It seems that the increase in rebar prices is in line with market expectations.

Feng Hsin said that there were no offers from the US scrap shipment last week. Also last week, the price of Japan's H2 scrap increased by 2.35% on a weekly basis, and the price of US containerized scrap increased by 1.22% compared to the previous week.

Australia's iron ore prices decreased by 2.17% in a week.
