All attention was turned to Kiev, the capital of the country, in Russia's attack on Ukraine, which aroused the whole world.

With news coming in that Russian forces are advancing into Kiev, the Russian military has disabled Ukraine's air defense system and is advancing rapidly across the country, according to a Western intelligence official.

The official said that under these conditions, Kiev could be captured in a short time. Continuing their advance, Russian troops captured the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, 130 kilometers from the capital, which still contains a high level of radioactivity. According to the images, the control of Hostomel Airport outside of Kiev seems to have passed to Russian forces.

Russian tanks are also reported to have arrived outside Kharkov. According to Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov, Moscow is preparing a new wave of attack with airborne troops. In the morning hours, explosions were reported in the capital, Kiev. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that Russian forces launched a missile attack on the capital, Kiev.
