The leading names of the hardware and fasteners sectors will come together at Tüyap Fair and Congress Center in Istanbul between May 9-12. Eurasia International Hardware Fair Hardware Eurasia, organized by RX Tüyap in cooperation with the Hardware Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (HISİAD) and Eurasia Industrial Fastening and Fastening Elements Fair Fastener Expo Eurasia, organized by the Fastener Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (BESİAD), opened its doors to visitors simultaneously on May 9. More than 300 domestic and foreign companies offering all kinds of products and services for hardware and fasteners offer all kinds of hardware and fastener solutions under one roof with a wide product group ranging from power tools to occupational safety materials, from fasteners to surface treatment.
Speaking at the opening ceremony attended by Sinan Topuk, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Fastener Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (BESİAD), Çetin Tecdelioğlu, Vice President of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Hardware Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (HISİAD), and Mustafa Gültepe, President of TİM, RX Tüyap General Manager Berkan Öner said the following about the Eurasia International Hardware Fair Hardware Eurasia and Fastener Expo Eurasia: "We are organizing the third Hardware Eurasia Fair and the second Fastener Expo Fair this year. We recorded an increase of more than 30% in these fairs compared to last year. We see an increase in the number of visitors from Middle East and European countries, especially Saudi Arabia. We achieved this increase as a result of our sales and marketing activities in Turkey and abroad during the year. Our fairs, where we carry out both digital and traditional marketing activities, will contribute to the export potential of both industries. We have opened our fairs with more than 300 exhibitors and company representatives in both fairs. We have received visitor registrations from nearly 100 countries and we aim to attract more than 20,000 industry professionals to visit our fairs for four days."
Supported by the Turkish Ministry of Trade, Hardware Eurasia received the title of "International"
Growing by 30% compared to 2023, Hardware Eurasia Fair received the title of "International" this year. Hardware Eurasia and Fastener Expo Eurasia Fairs, which are supported by the Ministry of Trade with exhibitor incentives and international buyer delegation organization, host more than 300 companies and company representatives and hundreds of brands. While important construction markets in Germany are invited to the fair, important construction companies from Saudi Arabia will also visit the fair for the fairs where more than 20 thousand visitors, including 3000 international visitors from nearly 100 countries are expected.
Within the scope of the fair; Tüyap Fair Organization's North Macedonia, Georgia, Russia and Iran offices are organizing buyer delegation activities for the fair with the sector professionals of their regions. Within the scope of the fair support of the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Trade, more than 60 international VIP buyers from abroad who came to Istanbul for the fair under the coordination of Istanbul Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters' Association (İDDMİB) held B2B meetings on the first day of the fair. Within the scope of the international buyer delegations organized specifically for the fair, a total of 400 delegations will be hosted at the fair for 4 days. International buyer delegation organizations within the scope of the fairs are of great importance for the export potential of the hardware and fastener industries in Turkey.
On May 10 and 11, unmissable HISİAD Academy Seminars
Within the scope of the Eurasia International Hardware Fair Hardware; visitors will be able to attend seminars organized by HISİAD Academy in the special area in Hall 4 on May 10 and 11. According to the program; On Friday, May 10, at 12:00, a seminar titled "The Importance of Logistics for the Success of Exports from Turkey to Europe" will be held with the presentation of Selçuk Taşkın from Taşkın Logistics, and at 14:30, a seminar titled "What is Welding?" will be held with the presentation of Yücel Uygur, Chairman of HISİAD - Welding Machinery and Welding Materials Sector Committee. On Saturday, May 11, Alper Kanca, Chairman of the Board of Directors of KANCA Hand Tools, will present "Hand Tools" seminar at 12:00, and at 14:30 "The Importance of Certificate Audit and Criminal Sanctions in Occupational Safety Equipment for Manufacturers, Sellers and End Users" seminar will be held by Fatih Akıllı, Chairman of HISİAD Occupational Safety Equipment Sector Committee, Mustafa Çiçekyurt, Member of HISİAD Occupational Safety Equipment Sector Committee, and Arif Tok, Class A Occupational Safety Expert, will provide useful information to visitors.
The fairs are open to visitors between 10.00 - 18.00 on the first three days and between 10.00 - 17.00 on the last day, Sunday, May 12.
