Since the beginning of the year, Germany's crude steel production has decreased.

Crude steel production in Germany has decreased

In April 2023, crude steel production in Germany fell by 3.8% year on year to 3.19 million tons. Between January and April 2023, crude steel production in Germany decreased by 5.9% year on year to 12.35 million tonnes.

Iron output in April amounted to 2.07 million tons, which is 3.4% less than last year.
