China's iron ore imports recorded a record increase in 2023

China's iron ore imports, which were 1.11 billion tons in 2022, increased by 6.63%.

With most facilities undergoing maintenance in December, China's December iron ore imports were 102.74 million tons, while this figure decreased by 1.83% to 100.86 million tons. It increased by 11.09% compared to the same month last year.

China's iron ore imports decreased by 3.9% and 1.5% in 2021 and 2022, respectively.
