According to official customs data released on Wednesday, China's iron ore imports decreased by 1.93% in September compared to the previous month.
The world's largest consumer of iron ore imported 95.61 million tons of iron ore last month, compared to 97.49 million tons in August and 108.55 million tons in September 2020, according to Customs General Administration data.
According to the customs office, in the first three quarters of the year, China imported 842 million tons of iron ore, down 3 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
