Borusan Group begins a new era under the name "Borusan Boru"

After Borusan Group announced that it had terminated its partnership with Salzgitter Mannesmann GmbH, the company's new name became "Borusan Boru". In international platforms, the company was named "Borusan Pipe".

Borusan Group started its activities in Turkey in 1958. Today, the company has more than 2,800 employees and more than 4,000 product lines. In addition, it has proven to its competitors that it is the global giant of the steel pipe industry with its 11 facilities in 3 continents.

With the name change, the Borusan Group will be known on international platforms as "Borusan Pipe". The company will continue its success in the production of pipes for the automotive industry, where it is a leader in the European market, with its plant in Romania, which is scheduled to start production in 2024. The Borusan Group's new pipe production line, which will serve the construction, general industry and energy sectors in the US market, is expected to be operational in the coming months.

Borusan Group CEO Erkan Kafadar said: "As the Borusan Group approaches its 80th anniversary, we are getting stronger in all areas in which we operate and we act in accordance with our mission to benefit society. Our company, which was established as the first industrial company of our group and has witnessed the development of Turkish industry, will continue its activities in 2023." "With the investments made, especially the acquisition of Berg Pipe in the first months of 2019, the company strengthens its presence in foreign markets. Borusan Boru and Borusan Pipe, as the company is known in world markets, will continue to contribute to our country's economy with its exports," he said.
