Bangladesh steel mill reserves 32,000 tons of scrap

32,000 tons of US-origin bulk HMS cargo of shredded material was booked by Bangladesh steel mill at approximately $515/ton CFR Chittagong.

With the increase in Turkey's import prices, new offers for US origin HMS have increased.

Scrap prices are at $520-530/ton CFR Chittagong, up around $5/ton on a week-on-week basis, according to foreign sources' assessment.
