According to a press release from Belgian-French stainless steel manufacturer Aperam, the company has launched a new sustainability brand called Aperam infinite™ for all its premium products, related services and solutions with a near-zero footprint.
Compared to the industry average, Aperam infinite™ has 85 per cent lower carbon emissions. This near-zero steel helps customers meet their CO2 reduction targets, including scope 3 emissions, and also helps customers use more recycled materials when manufacturing steel products.
Aperam chose the name "infinite" because stainless steel has infinite recyclability, infinite availability, infinite adaptability and infinite advantages.
