Germany's crude steel production increased in the January-August period

According to the statistics of the German Steel Federation (WV Stahl), Germany's crude steel production amounted to approximately 26.6 million tons in the first eight months of this year, an increase of approximately 17% compared to the same period of the previous year.

In August alone, this country's crude steel production reached 2.92 million tons, up 3.4 percent year on year. It was observed that the growth rate slowed down in this period.
