Quota filling rates increase in rebar
2023 EU Turkey current quotas have been announced. According to the latest data, while the quota for rebar gained momentum, it continued its slow course for some products. In our news dated February 9, 2023, SteelRadar correspondent, who shared that the EU announced a quota of 88,881/t for Turkey in the first quarter of 2023, announced that it was filled with 33,938/t due to insufficient demand. As of today, it was seen that the quota increased to 43,719/t in the updated data. The remaining quota amount was 45.162/t.
Wire rod quotas move slower
While 145.328/t quota was announced for Wire rod, 34,491/t of this was transferred from the last quarter of last year. While 8.033/t was used in quotas, the remaining quota usage was 137.295/t.
30,703/t quota was used in HRC
The current quota of 466,189/t transferred in hot rolled coil (HRC) from the last quarter of 2022 was announced as 908,729/t for Turkey. The quota used so far has been seen as 30,703/t.
Only 33,939/t quota remained for stainless steel and light section, high demand for profile
A quota of 106,258/t was announced in Stainless Steel and light sections, while 72,319/t was filled. Only 33,939/t quota remained. It was learned that the quota used for Hollow Profiles was 96,421/t, while the quota used was 76,275/t. The remaining quota was 20.146/t.
Depending on the quota follow-up, the filling rate may vary in some products.
While the quota of 14,798/t for Organic Coated Sheets was announced, the quota remained at 5.527/t. As for railway materials, there is a quota of 816/t while 766/t fills from the announced quota of 1.582/t. For Pipe (Other Seamed), 29.962/t was used out of the announced 39.209/t quota, and the remaining quota amount was recorded as 9.247/t. Pipe (Wide Seam) product has 6.608/t remaining quota out of 14,757/t quota.
Unalloyed Steel Wire quotas move slowly
80.931/t quota remained from the announced quota of 95.359/t in Unalloyed Steel Wire. The quota used was recorded as 14,428.
