The demand for stainless steel in the European market gradually recovered at the beginning of the new year.
Although market activity increased slightly from last month, buyers generally lacked confidence due to many factors such as fluctuating main material costs and geopolitical and economic uncertainty. However, most buyers need to place orders with steelmakers in February and March to replenish their stocks.
As more and more distribution centers and stockists begin to make purchase plans for the second quarter, it is anticipated that steelmakers may increase their offers within a reasonable range in the short term.
