Ereğli Demir- Çelik Factories Co. Inc. announced on Thursday that it had initiated a 1 billion Turkish Lira buyback program. The company made its first buyback on Friday.
In the disclosure made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) regarding the matter, the following statements were included:
"The buyback transactions made on April 28, 2023, have been added to the table in accordance with the "Share Buyback Program" approved at our company's Ordinary General Assembly Meeting No. 79 dated March 31, 2023, and the authority given within the scope of the Board of Directors' decision dated April 27, 2023.
On April 28, 2023, 7,500,000 shares were bought back at a price range of 32.94 TL - 33.62 TL (average of 33.23 TL). The total amount of the transaction is 249,204,914 TL.
