The ISO 500 2025 Rankings Have Been Announced: Steel Companies Shift Positions

The Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO) has announced the results of its “Türkiye’s Top 500 Industrial Enterprises (ISO 500)” survey for 2025. According to the data, a large number of steel companies secured positions in the top 500 list, while notable shifts were observed both within the sector rankings and in the overall standings.

According to the 2025 Türkiye’s Top 500 Industrial Enterprises (ISO 500) survey released by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO), leading companies in the steel sector maintained strong positions in the ranking, while several notable changes were recorded both within the sector and in the overall standings.

İskenderun Demir ve Çelik A.Ş. (İSDEMİR) retained its leadership in the steel sector with TRY 120.8 billion in net sales from production. However, the company slipped three places in the overall ranking, falling from 8th to 11th position.

Tosyalı Demir Çelik Sanayi A.Ş. climbed one place in the overall ranking to 14th, securing second place in the steel sector with TRY 104.3 billion in production-based sales.

Ereğli Demir ve Çelik Fabrikaları T.A.Ş. (ERDEMİR) recorded TRY 101.7 billion in production sales but dropped seven places to 16th in the overall ranking, moving down to third place within the sector.

Çolakoğlu Metalurji A.Ş. ranked 18th overall, down four positions despite generating TRY 91.7 billion in production sales. Tosçelik Profil ve Sac Endüstrisi A.Ş. followed in 20th place, slipping two positions with TRY 84.7 billion in production sales.

İçdaş Çelik Enerji Tersane ve Ulaşım Sanayi A.Ş. declined three places to 24th, posting TRY 73.7 billion in production sales.

KARDEMİR Karabük Demir Çelik San. ve Tic. A.Ş. increased its production sales to TRY 58.6 billion but nevertheless fell two places to 30th in the overall ranking.

İzmir Demir Çelik Sanayi A.Ş. advanced three places to 38th with TRY 50.9 billion in production sales, while Borçelik Çelik San. Tic. A.Ş. rose seven positions to 41st, supported by TRY 46.9 billion in production sales.

In the overall ISO 500 ranking, TÜPRAŞ once again secured first place with TRY 698.8 billion in production sales. It was followed by Ford Otomotiv with TRY 538.3 billion and Star Rafineri with TRY 327.9 billion. As a result, the top three positions in the ISO 500 remained unchanged compared to the previous year. Oyak-Renault ranked fourth with TRY 235.5 billion in production sales, Toyota Otomotiv placed fifth with TRY 206.3 billion, and Arçelik ranked sixth with TRY 165.7 billion.
