According to the new data from Brazil's Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (Mdic), Brazil’s semi-finished product exports decreased by 2.2% m-o-m and by 26.9% y-o-y, amounted to about 529,000 tons in September. Also, the export value totaled US$395 million, a m-o-m and y-o-y decrease of 12.4% and 42.7%, respectively.
The semi-finished product exports from Brazil totaled 6 million tons, going up by 1.1% year on year in the first nine months. The export value rose by 5.8% to US$5 billion from the same month a year ago.
Among them, exports to the US accounted for the most of total Brazil’s semi-finished product exports, followed by Mexico, Canada, and Argentina.
