Regional price movements remained mixed in Turkish long steel market on July 7.

Daily analysis of Turkish long products | July 7, 2026

Rebar prices declined in Istanbul and Payas, increased slightly in Izmir, and remained unchanged in Karabük. While producer offer levels were largely maintained, the key development of the day was Kardemir's brief reopening of rebar sales, during which the producer sold a total of 42,000 tons before closing its order book again. In the billet segment, imported billet prices declined by USD 10/ton to USD 500/ton CFR Türkiye. The wire rod market remained largely stable, while producer-specific price increases were observed in the structural steel segment.

Rebar

In the spot market, rebar prices in Istanbul decreased by TRY 100/ton to TRY 32,700/ton, while prices in Payas fell by TRY 1,000/ton to TRY 31,800/ton. In Izmir, prices increased by TRY 100/ton to TRY 31,900/ton, whereas prices in Karabük remained unchanged at TRY 32,700/ton.

Average producer prices

Producer offer levels remained unchanged in the Marmara and Izmir regions, while the average producer offer in the Iskenderun region declined to USD 570/ton FOB.

Producer offers
