China's stainless steel imports and exports increased in the January-November period

In the first 11 months of the year, China's stainless steel imports amounted to 3.05 million tons, up 14.7% compared to the same period of the previous year. Among them, imports from Indonesia amounted to approximately 2.6 million tons, up 27.1% y-o-y.

In November alone, China imported about 292,000 tons of stainless steel, down 6.2% m-o-m and up 22.6% y-o-y. Among them, imports from Indonesia amounted to 232,000 tons, down 14.7% m-o-m and up 24.5% y-o-y.

In terms of exports, China's stainless steel export volume totaled 401,000 tons in November, up 35.5% m-o-m and 1.7% y-o-y. Exports in the first 11 months of this year increased by 3,55% compared to the previous year and amounted to 4,16 million tons.
