China's coal imports decreased in October

The reason for this decline is that domestic prices are low and stocks remain at record levels.

According to the General Customs Administration, total imports of 35.99 million tons in October increased by 23.3% compared to the same month of the previous year.

According to customs data, total coal imports in the first 10 months of the year reached 383.64 million tons, an increase of 66.8% compared to the same period of 2022.

According to the China Coal Transportation and Distribution Association, China's coal imports may reach a record level of 460 million tons this year.
