CELSA Group retains place in the global steel producer ranking

CELSA Group experienced a decline in the ranking of the world’s largest steel-producing companies published by the World Steel Association due to a drop in its production.

CELSA Group retains place in the global steel producer ranking

CELSA Group’s crude steel production declined from 5.7 million tons in 2024 to 4.39 million tons in 2025. This represents a significant decrease of approximately 23% and led the company to fall from 67th place in 2024 to 70th place in the global ranking in 2025.

Recent data shows that despite this notable drop in output, CELSA Group remains one of the key players in the global steel industry. The decline reflects the slowdown in Europe’s construction and industrial sectors, as well as challenging market conditions faced by global steel producers.

Based in Spain, the company continues to supply long steel products across Europe through its extensive production network, mainly serving construction, infrastructure, and manufacturing sectors. While working to maintain its competitiveness in global markets, CELSA Group is also focusing on sustainable production technologies and strategic initiatives aligned with the European steel industry’s green transition goals.
