Alman Klockner, Mercedes-Benz'e ilk yeşil çeliği sağlayacak

Alman üreticiden bağımsız çelik ve metal distribütörü Klöckner & Co, yeni markası “Nexigen” ile ilk yeşil çelik bobinini Mercedes-Benz AG'ye teslim etti.

Alman Klockner, Mercedes-Benz'e ilk yeşil çeliği sağlayacak

Klockner, yeşil çelik üretim sürecinin ton çelik başına 500 kg'dan daha az karbon olacağını ve bunun yüksek fırınlarla üretime kıyasla %80 daha düşük olacağını belirtti. Ayrıca Nexigen kapsamında şirket, malzeme, işleme ve lojistikte şeffaf, karbonu azaltılmış çözümler sunacak.

Mercedes-Benz, hammadde tedarikini geleneksel çelikten yeşil çeliğe aktarmaya devam edecek.
