Algerian Qatari Steel earns european rebar certification

Algerian Qatari Steel (AQS) has announced a major technical achievement after obtaining the European certification from KIWA Netherlands, the authorized certification body, verifying its compliance with the Netherlands' technical requirements for rebar production.

As part of the certification process, AQS’s B500B rebar products underwent comprehensive testing and inspection in accordance with the BRL 0501 technical guideline. Having successfully met all the technical criteria, the products have been approved for export to the Dutch market.

The certified rebar products are distinguishable by their unique rib patterns and the AQS logo, which not only ensures technical conformity but also enhances brand reliability and competitiveness in the European market.

AQS emphasized the crucial role of coordinated efforts between its technical and administrative teams throughout this process aimed at meeting Europe's high technical standards. The company also reaffirmed its commitment to expanding production capabilities and maintaining leadership in international quality compliance.
