EMRA grants long-term generation license to Borusan's Hydroelectric Power Facility

With an installed capacity of 27.88 MW, Aksu Hydroelectric Power Station (HEPP) in İspir, Erzurum continues to produce with an operating capacity of 27,272 MWe. With its decision dated November 16, 2023 and numbered 12190-5, the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) terminated the generation license numbered EÜ/695-14/626 which was granted to Yedigöl Hidroelektrik Üretim ve Ticaret AŞ on March 23, 2006 for Aksu Hydroelectric Power Plant (HEPP) as of November 16, 2023. The Energy Market Regulatory Authority granted 'Borusan EnBW Enerji Yatırımları ve Üretim AŞ' a new generation license for 31 years, 4 months and 7 days for the continuation of the Aksu HEPP facility.
