Demand decreased due to the gradual decrease in wire rod prices in July.
Kardemir wire rod prices (Ø 6-7-8-9-10-12-....28 mm (SAE 1008-1010) which were $625 in the first week of July), decreased to $600 in the middle of the month, and with another 25$ decrease in the last week of the month, it fell to $575.
Plain wire rod price of İçdaş Biga, which was $770 on March 13, 2023, dropped to $720 on April 10, $680 on May 11, 660 in early June, and $590 in the last week of July.
Ege Celik lowered the price of 5.5-16mm 20 MnB 4 wire rod price from $820 to $800 and the price of 5.5-16mm wire-4 wire rod from $695 to $675.
