The price assessment for local, Polish-delivered steel wire rod (ductile grade) was at PLN 2,750-2,800 ($690-703) per tonne on Friday, unchanged since July 7.
Local steel mills' official offers for July rolling low-carbon drawn grade wire rod were reported at 2,800-2,900 zloty CPT per tonne this week, unchanged from the previous week.
Trading in the country remains limited, with buyers tending to book only small batches to meet urgent needs.
Import wire rod offers to Poland have also remained stable over the past seven days.
According to sources, a Ukrainian supplier offered wire rod in wire mesh grade at €610-615 ($679-685) CPT per tonne from stocks. Transactions for small lots were heard to have taken place at this range during the week to Friday.
An Italian producer was reported to have offered €610-620 CPT per tonne for July production.
A Moldovan producer offered €620 CPT per tonne for drawing quality wire rod.
